Greetings from the Tucson New Horizons Band!

Welcome!

The Tucson New Horizons Band is a recently formed chapter of New Horizons International Music Association. New Horizons Music programs provide entry points to music making for adults, including those with no musical experience at all and also those who were active in school music programs but have been inactive for a long period.

The Tucson chapter was founded by University of Arizona music education faculty member, Matt Williams, who serves as the band’s director and cheerleader.

The Tucson New Horizons Band is open to adults near or over the age of 50 and meets weekly on Sundays during a Fall and Spring season. So, whether you have always wanted to play an instrument but have never had the chance or you used to play and haven’t played in a long time, we would love to have you join us and have a good time. All you will need is your instrument and a positive attitude!

A Note About the Current Covid-19 Situation

Good news! We will continue with in-person rehearsals for our Spring 2023 session.
