LEARN TO PLAY A BAND INSTRUMENT

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!

Tucson New Horizons Band New Member Information Meeting

Adults age 50ish+ who want to learn to play a band instrument, or who used to play and would like to do so again, are encouraged to join us this Fall as a member of the Tucson New Horizons Band. All those interested are invited to attend an information meeting Sunday, September 8th at 4:00 pm. We will meet in Room 170 of the Fred Fox School of Music building on the University of Arizona campus.

Come meet the director, some current members, and learn about the mission of the Tucson New Horizons Band. This organization is unique in Tucson as it provides a fun and non-stressful environment for adults to learn an instrument and how to read music, or to refresh music playing skills that haven’t been used in many years. No auditions needed to participate.

If you wish to attend the meeting, please kindly RSVP via the link below so we have an idea of how many people to expect. There is a map below with more info on where the location is and the closest, easiest parking option.

We look forward to meeting you!
